I've been an avid gamer for my entire life, dating all the way back to when I was 5 years old and got my Wii and Super Mario Galaxy as a Christmas present. As I grew older, the number of games and genres I've played has grown exponentially, and so has my appreciation for the medium as a whole.

 

By the time I reached high school, I was unsure of what to do with my life after graduation, until I learned about DigiPen Institute of Technology in my Junior year and finally decided to pursue a career in game design. So I applied to a Computer Science & Game Design degree at the school, was accepted, and almost immediately regretted it as I quickly learned that I don't enjoy programming. The program took a massive toll on my mental health, and I ended up failing my first year, nearly causing me to give up on my career choice.

 

But thanks to the people around me, I transferred to a strictly Game Design program and very quickly reignited my passion for making games, as well as getting out of my depressive slump. It was through this program that I have been able to grow my skills as a designer and I am dedicated to always putting in 100% of my effort to make sure that the design work I produce shows the passion that I have for what I do.

I'm a lifetime fan of Nintendo and the games that they craft, with some of my favorite series from the company including Mario, Pokémon, and Metroid. Beyond Nintendo, I'm also fond of series such as Halo, Persona, Spyro, and Insomniac's Spider-Man games.

​Outside of video games, I'm also a lifetime collector of Lego sets and always have several of my favorites on display. I also love watching movies and television, and am a huge Star Wars fan ever since I was a kid.
